The Sandler family began their business ventures in downtown Norfolk in the food industry in the 1900s. After a couple of generations of great success, the family sold the company to Sara Lee.
The Sandler’s were always looking for new business opportunities and discovering new exciting projects is in their blood. Art and Steve Sandler invested in this new enterprise, giving Virginia what is Chesapeake Homes.
