Chesapeake Homes Groundbreaking at The Hallow

Groundbreaking at The Hallow

We are very excited to announce the groundbreaking for our newest project! The Hallow is a home we are working on in collaboration with Samaritan House, and will become the area’s first home for trafficked youth. And while construction won’t begin until later this year, the groundbreaking of this home fell during the month of January which is National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month.

In what started as a sketch on a napkin, The Hallow has quickly become a reality, but not without the help of the 25 subcontractors that have offered their services at reduced rates to make this dream come true. As soon as The Hallow is finished and Samaritan House moves in they will immediately begin making a positive impact in the Hampton Roads area by helping those who fall victim to trafficking seek shelter.
